    I am looking to transport an F-car from San Francisco to Chicago next September. I have been looking for quotes around the Internet and I have come across a company called "AutoTransportDirect" that has quoted me $1,350 for transport with an enclosed trailer. Seems like a good deal.

    Does anyone have experience with this company, or any suggestions where I could get an even better quote? Clearly, safety and professionalism are my paramount concerns, but I want to get the best possible value.

    I'd focus on transporters that ship a lot of exotics. Intercity Lines is really good. I believe they were also the designated transporter for all the Carrera GT's. Their website has an offer for $1500 coast-to-coast not including fuel. You also get gps tracking of the truck to know where your car is at all times.

    Exotic Car Transport is also good.
