So I’ll be getting my first Ferrari soon, (woooooo!!!) and was wondering if anyone knows what the best state(s) are to title the vehicle. I have residences in multiple states where I can potentially do it but curious whether it made sense to go outside CT. Also just read the thread that GA is the worst hah!

In Texas, you pay 6.25% when you buy it then $80 plus a $25 inspection every year.

And isn't Va the worst state to own an exotic in?

Every year you pay a personal property tax on automobiles based on NADA value on January 1st times the tax rate they have in effect.

It would help to know which states you have residences in so that those residents could answer you.

You could also go to the dot-gov sites of those states and look up the requirements.
