    Not sure. I have tons of records and I don't think they show valve guides being done, but the car doesn't smoke, runs like a top. So the short answer is maybe, but I don't know for sure.

    Remember, there were good sets and bad sets of valve guides. Get a good set and they last a long time.

    No, mine is a 6-speed. For the US market, I believe all 95s should be 6-speed and all 97s were autos. I don’t think they imported 456s in 1996.

    No, there were auto and manual 97 models, but all 95s were 6 speeds.
