The video was very helpful in prompting ideas.

Sounds like you want to spend time in the garage to watch TV and stuff.
    - It looks like the garage has hvac. Make it comfortable. Is that glass garage door insulated? (I have a solid garage door built to R19 insulation ... and I live in California!)
    - You definitely need wall covering; have the walls drywalled or something.
    - Not sure it's wise to wash cars indoors; maybe make it a dry garage to allow fancier indoor furniture, even area rugs.
    - If you don't have a music room in your house to crank up the tunes, the garage might be perfect! Time for some monoblock amps!
    - There is a lot you can do with storage both in your corner with the yellow chairs and in your storage room. Fix both areas up with fancy storage. There is lots of high-end stuff that would look great.
    - Consider changing your dangling strings to laser parking guides. They will allow you to park the car with such precision you can safely position the car so that the rear is only a couple of inches from the closing garage door.
    - Yeah, change the door opener to a jackshaft style.

yes, insulated, heated, but no HVAC as we live in Sun Valley, Idaho and never too hot. Getting a new door for sure, roll up with clear windows

    love washing inside

    got some music there

    interesting

For what you desire..you need a bigger garage. That is a 2 and a half car set up. Difficult to get what you want, without having to remove a parking spot.

Thanks, but I think I have enough room here for the 2 cars, but not sure if a lift where BMW is now would be way too crowded or not. What would you do on the floors? I was thinking just white covering epoxy or ?, but not sure if I should do a different color or material?

Just seal it for protection from oil leaks and other fluids. Expoy or paint is nice..but if you have any moisture that can get under the finish through cracks etc in the floor ..it will start to lift an flake off in short order.

I just did my whole garage with this. Different color, but same product. I am pleasantly surprised. It is very well made. I had it installed in September, so currently this is the first winter with this. Very easy to clean and wipe down with all the slush and snow. Not slippery at all as well. So far so good.

So it’s not chemicals. It’s a stone composite with vinyl tile. Very thick. It’s has anti slip, can withstand 40,000lbs rolling pressure and impact resistant. It’s a click together tile that is water proof. It looks amazing and will simply go over your existing floor with no damage to it. If you don’t like it, simply remove.

Daaaaaaang - that's good looking stuff right there!

I'm pencilling this in for early summer - but not looking forward to removing some of the HEAVY stuff I have in that garage (43" metal lathe, monster air compressor, etc).

I really wanted to get the pearly, swirly look in my garage and my contractor advised me not to. Said he would be more than happy to do it but it does not last long if you move cars in/out on a daily basis. I went traditional with the specs with a lifetime warranty on it to avoid the hassle.

shallow RED tall workbench with matching stools in the area where the parts are on the wall. LED lighting. Floors need a redo. Epoxy, light gray with red flake. Put aggregate in epoxy in high foot traffic areas. Small Ferrari real neon sign. Hidden stereo system. Compact sitting chairs to watch tv. Red slim refrigerator in corner (Home Depot used to sell a really nice, slim frig with small freezer on top which i used to make ice cubes for the bourbon). I keep saying to use RED items as your garage needs color. It's too grey. Liven the place up. Paint the place on the ceiling that faces the street (looks like it's 2 foot tall and wide) Red to give accent. Also, put Aluminum Ferrari scrip on that place on ceiling facing the street once painted red and don't mount them flat, put spacers in so they're off the wall like a half inch. 2 20in Ferrari rims with a glass top as a side table in the corner. Just some thoughts.

Generally a contractor will grind the concrete down to get the stains out. By grinding it down a bit you also will expose the stones in the concrete, which when sealed looks pretty cool.

Same. I’m trying really hard to talk myself in to farming the job out. Otherwise it’ll be the 3’rd floor I’ve epoxied myself, but the first time doing it as a middle aged guy with some noticeable arthritis.

if you lightened the ceiling it would brighten the entire garage. FYI. The back wall should be stone of some color. Neutral color. The fish eyes in your floors are from humidity. Tough to redo. You need more lighter colors in there to liven up the entire place.

thank you so much for your input. Please help me understand how to remove the fisheye in the floor or if I will be able to at all. There is not much humidity where I live so that is surprising. It really looks like ****

My man, you need to subscribe to this Japanese magazine called “Garage Life”. (If you haven’t already). Lots of great ideas in there. You can get digital versions too. Great looking garage!!

Led lighting will transform the space. Accent lighting in red would be awesome too. The fish eyes are tough. It's from either too much backrolling when applying the finish OR humidity when applying the product. Shoot me some close up, detailed pics and I may be able to further advise. I rented a commercial diamond grinder and did my entire garage myself. Was a PIA, but I wanted it done right and noone would do it better than me. Took some time but it came great. I have had oil, gas, tranny fluid, etc on it and it just wipes off. Have had REALLY hot tires pull in on it and NO lifting. It's all in the prep. The ceiling has to go lighter in color. White is right. LOL. Brightens the whole place and makes it look bigger instantly. Awesome job so far.
