Hi, Been looking for a late model 355 gts 6 speed with low mileage for about a week now, finally found a 1998 with 2000 miles the other day, and someone snatched it up before me! ARGHH!! Any advice on best places to look? I'm in the Los angeles, CA area.... But don't mind having the car shipped from any other state. Thought about importing one from europe, there seems to be more available there, but not sure about the costs involved with importing and conversions. Any advice would be great!
It seems like a Ferrari seach can take months, not weeks if you want to pay a fair price. If you are in a hurry then you might pay too much. Best sources IMHO are eBay, DuPont Registry, FerrariChat ads and either cars.com or aurotrader.com. One of them lists Ferraris. Converting a Euro car takes a lot of time and I don't think it is worth it. There is a smaller audience for a GTS, so they are harder to find but there are less buyers looking for them. Good luck!! Al
Is this the car that was sold? http://www2.thecarexperience.com/pls/carexp/car_exp.car_page?p_car_id=17984
I'm sorry, everybody... was this car sold? Is it sold or still available? According, to the dealer's website, the car is still there. http://www.lfsc.com/html/Preown.cfm Notice no red "SOLD" designation. ::shrugs:: -Matthew
