    I am trying to decorate my boat house where I park my cars and boats. I would like to use license plates as a boarder around the top of the walls. I currently have the following states and would like to have a plate from each of the 50 states, I do have a few duplicate states to trade.

    Illinois

    I am collecting License plates for my boat house, so far I am doing pretty well but need one from both Arizona and New Mexico, I do have a few plates I can trade another garage wall collector.

    This was my very first personal plate ever and I acquired it shortly after I became a Deputy Sheriff back in '10 hence the "LAW-MN".

    I have looked around and have come up empty. I thought I had a single recent plate.

    I am almost certain that I have an unused set of "Red" plates stashed in a box somewhere. Our plates changed colors over the years and I think the "Red" plates were the first issued after statehood. I need to check and see if they would have any collector value.

    I will keep looking. Hopefully, someone will have some recent plates that need to be given a better purpose than collecting dust in the garage.
