Anyone know where I could find a rear tire for a testarossa? Michelin 280 45VR415.
Coker doesn’t carry that size, only the front size.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Nothing has changed. Those tires will never be made again. Last year I sold my 15 yr old used rears to an Fchatter who wanted the set for a set of wheels he would mount when displaying the car with original tires.

The sorta good news is that a company is now making 16" single bolt wheels that appear to be cast from original molds. They just don't have the Ferrari logo and size cast into them like the originals. Much less costly than people are willing to sell used 16's at. That is if you can even find a set nowadays. I saw a posting recently in the classified section where seller wanted like over $5k USD just for the rears. Ridiculous. I spent less on a full set including having them refinished.

Also with the 16's I sourced 4 BFG tires for about the cost of what one rear TRX tire sold for.

Sadly the wheels available on ebay are not a perfect visual match. There is a slight but glaring difference that drives me nuts. I wish I could buy those to run original looking wheels on my car. Currently I have awesome 17” wheels for daily but also a set of original metric with old tires that I would never use.

Thanks for the info everyone. Looks like I have to find the 16" wheels and sell what I have now, which is 3 tires and 4 OEM wheels

I actually wanted to buy a set of original knock offs last year and spent a few months looking. I had no problem finding several sets for sale, yet the sellers all assured me that they were super rare and priced them accordingly. I even literally had a random guy at a gas station who claimed to have had several TRs over the years offer me a set he still had—of course, with the same assurance of rareness...

Unless you’re aiming for Classiche certification, forget about the originals and just buy the 16” reproductions. They’re made by an Italian firm named Master1, won’t suffer from the integrity issues of the old magnesium originals, have tires readily available, will be in perfect condition, and are priced pretty reasonably.

I just went through this as well, I ended up sourcing an OEM set of 16 inch wheels from a company in Modena, and paid accordingly. I plan on keeping the metric set as well.
