    I would love to get feedback on the valeo clutch system. If anyone knows of one for sale it would be appreciated if they can pass the word onto me.

    You might try asking in General Ferrari Discussion to get the widest possible range of views..... FWIW I have seen one Mondial w/ Valeo about 4 years ago in southern California.

    You can ck with Ferrari UK but I have heard nightmare stories about getting parts. I recently answered several emails for the FCA from someone that was scouring the globe for a part for one. I also know of only 2 that were sold in No Ca so finding someone that has a good handle on how to fix one might be a problem.

    I`ve had my 93 Mondial Cab.(valeo) since new even if I only put 10k mi. on it to date. It is fantastic. Similar to the F-1`s today yet it retains the feel of a manual operation.The system was developed by the French Company Valeo for Rally racing team of Lancia.Who won two world championships with it. Like the F-1,it was not ment to be a "semi automatic". It`s birth was in racing. Very few exist. They are not only very reliable but they cut down on clutch replacements. I love it. The "Ferrari Buyers Guide" is quoted as saying "due to its rariety and reliablilty it may become a significant Ferrari",go figure.
