I'm sure these are unobtanium now, but if anybody has a lead on where to find them for a carbed 308, I just need *one*! I have the other 3, but the fourth is AWOL...has been since I bought the car. I'd love to complete the set.

    Thanks so much!

Try Norwood Performance.. 972/831-8111. I'm pretty sure they have some great used ones in stock.

I scored four new ones and the rubber washers from maranello uk. They were very cheap. Only a few pound plus postage.

Daniel at Ricambi sent me a set of four, he had them labeled as 'Boxer battery cover retainers" which of course they are not......IIRC...

I have changed mine out to nylock metric hex nuts, as they were always rattling loose.......

I think FerrariUK also has them, as noted above .....

I'd hope they wouldn't rattle loose with the foam washers underneath. I don't have them so I can't say! Are those available, too? (Aren't there supposed to be some compressible washers under those nuts?)

It's actually closer to a rubber washer, like in a sink faucet valve.

I think it's supposed to "grip' the rough paint and avoid looseneing.....well, it didn't!

I keep my set in the glovebox and only put them on when it matters!

    It went like this:

    Portland OR - 4
    Sonoma CA - 3
    Lake Havasu NV -2
    Houston, TX - 1

    LOL!

I used Ace Hardware in Lake Havasu for the new nylock hex nuts....

Washer is glued to the knurled wheel, IIRC.....or maybe just heat fused! LOL!

I'm bringing my second one in from the barn for Inspection and Title work, I'll get the part number, or call Ricambi.....
