I am thinking of openeing a bar where I live. I would like to find a damaged 308 that I could cut to hang 1/3rd of it lengthwise on a wall. Just looking for leads.

There was a Mondial ( I believe it was a Mondial anyway) on e-bay many times over that to my knowledge never sold. It was already completely set up as a wall mount. Maybe someone else remembers that thing. BTW, what type of bar? Sports bar, night club, etc.?

Worst case, buy the individual pieces of the GTO from Butch Hooper and then find the doors in Hemmings. Maybe?

    Interesting idea.

Why don't you just buy the whole car, chop it up and put all the parts on display. Then when you decide to re-decorate you can finance that with the sale of the individual car parts. :D

    Why so?

A damaged car that's sitting in a junk yard, pulled out, cleaned up, jauntily hung from a wall? I'd like one of those myself.

I'm sure a fire-damaged ferrari would work out terrific - you may have to do some resto on any charred metal first, but hey....if you're going to the trouble of cutting the car lengthwise, this shouldn't be a huge problem.

The '79 GTS would be perfect for it. The hardest part would be finding one third of the rear hatch. The rest of the missing pieces can be fabbed out of common sheet metal.
