    Hi,

    I need enough to cover the door card insert in each door. Previous owner cut speaker holes. Any carpet that is original tan 328 that I could cut ( floor, mats, big piece on firewall, etc.)

    I need two 10inch x 20inch pieces.

    Any help appreciated.

    Try ReOriginals.

    Or GAHH or World Upholstery would have the door pieces, it's not the first time some one put in new speakers.

    Thanks for your reply Tex. I've tried all of those and none match the original unfortunately. Ferrparts is looking in their warehouse, but I thought I'd try the forum. Anyone have any 328 carpet laying around.

    I have my old set of tan carpets lying around somewhere - if I can get to them you can have the firewall piece. In pretty good shape - I only replaced the carpets because the footwell ones were a little tired.

    You'll have to wait a couple of days as there's another typhoon on its way and they're in my "shed"

    I think I have some leftovers from when the previous owner retrimmed the interior of mine.

    Let me look and see if I have enough for two pieces that size. If I do, it's yours.

    I am in the process of doing this as we speak. I have one side completed.

    i took out the door card, installed a new speaker where it should be, pealed off the carpet piece, took it to an upholstery shop and had them make new carpet bits. Glued those in place then took it to the shop that the dealers use to make used cars look good. $ 50 later it was painted/dyed the same color as the floor carpet/ door card.
