Although I am not a Ferrari owner, a local exotic detailer suggested that I post my question in this community. I hope that you will indulge my question.

I am looking for someone that is trustworthy and does quality work to paint my calipers and also the inner diameter of my rotors. I have a new RX-8 that is in need of some touch up in that area and I have not been able to find someone that would do the work for me. I do not want any kind of outlandish or loud paint job done, just a flat silver that looks like the OEM. I am not much of a DIY guy and I would appreciate any guidance the community could provide.

Thanks in advance for your help.

seems like an easy enough DIY job if you know how to get the calipers off the car. the job may be too small for some people. however, there is a person in Jupiter that repaints and refinishes wheels. maybe he can help. his name is Michael at First Class Wheels. Phone 561-747-6777.
you can mention my name, Paul Bianco. he knows me.
    good luck.

I did my own calipers with Heat resistant spray paint and clear coat and they look as good as the day I did them last year and the car since has had 3 track events and alot of hard street driving. It cost me like $8.00 to do it and I painted them ON the car. Just wrap the rotor with a plastic bag and make sure that it isn't touching the caliper in any places, sand down the caliper a bit and put on about 7-9 coats of paint, the first few being very light coats. Allow to dry between every coat though or you'll get bad orange peel. Not hard at all.
