I'm an architect working with an owner and need to design a ramp that will accommodate a 458 climbing approximately 17' to 18' vertically. He's not been able to assist me with any data related to any ramp design, or enough dimensions for me to calculate the angles myself. If anyone can advise me on where I can find the ground clearance data for a 458 I'd appreciate it.

Also, he's most assuredly going to add to his collection, so I’ll gladly accept data on other models.
    Thanks!

I do not know the clearance for a 458 in particular, but if you assume a ground clearance of 4 to 4.5 inches and a wheelbase of approx 115 inches you should be able to accomodate just about any low ground clearance car.

    Cheers Jim

It all depends on the overhangs.

Ground clearance between the front and rear axles matters too when the car transitions from the ramp to the top. the higher the ramp the longer it needs to be. its also true that the entry to the ramp can be steeper to minimize the length of the ramp. i.e. not just a straight line
