Rick, I am looking for one too. I think some of our sponsors may have one (like Nick's). I had dinner in Castro Valley last week after Monterey. No idea where, but it was up a hill in one of the gated communities.
I make test pipes for TRs. I could make them for the 328, but I would have to have a convertor, to use as a template.
Nick was one of the cheapest that I have seen around. (sponsor) Also, HG Parts has it, if you want a tubi brand. (also sponsor)
I got a Stebro 'euro resonator' for my US spec 328, and it sounds great. I didn't have any problems getting it either. Just called Dan, they had it in stock and drop shipped it to my mechanic. It just bolted in while they were doing other work on the car.
You were here...I was in Alaska (and totally missing Monterey)! Go figure!! Called Nick (Forza) yesterday but got answering machine...
Henry, I'll keep that in mind, but I'd really prefer to plug'n'play in an afternoon (minimizing downtime). Thanks.....
Tillman, Didn't see a "Euro resonator" on the Stebro site. Sent them an e-mail...let's see if I get a reply. Thanks.....
I would pick up the phone and call them. Email tends not to work so well with them for some reason. The resonator isn't listed on the site, you have to ask for it specifically.
The "euro resonator" isn't on the Stebro website, but they do have it available. You'll like the sound much better than a straight-through test pipe, which is more harsh, while the Stebro is more deep and rumbly.
I have the euro resonator in place of the cat on my stock 328 exhaust system. It just bolts in place. It's more than loud enough for me. I would guess if the other systems can support the stock cat converter then they could handle the euro resonator.
Thanks, Tillman! maybe I will start off with the resonator first. Anyone know if the 89 GTS is any different than the others?
