Greetings everyone! I don't own a Ferrari, nor will I ever be able to (I probably couldn't even afford that totalled out Enzo that made the news a while back). Nonetheless, I really admire your cars. With that said, I'm looking for this car. Have you seen this specific pic anywhere on the Internet before? Here? Got a link? Anyone here own it? I'm looking for that specific picture, not for pictures of a TDF Blue 360. Someone else is claiming to own that car when I know he doesn't, but I need to be able to prove it. Long story guys, maybe I'll tell it if anyone can find the pic and wants to hear the story.

    Thanks for your help.

You just set off my radar.

Are you a repo man, an investigator, or a cop? Just wondering.

Nope, just some poor boy from Oregon. LOL, I never thought that I might come off as a PI or repo man but I do see where you are coming from.

The story is, I am a mod in some forums where a well trusted member has basically been lying to all of the members about various things. Well, we let it slide because almost everybody on the net misrepresents who they are, at least a little. Originally we never said anything because technically he wasn't hurting anything....well, we've sort of let this little problem go on for so long that he's now a well repsected member a lot of people turn to and his lies are getting bigger. We're a very close knit community so I can't just can the guy without something to back it up with or we'll face some backlash. Again, being mods and admins we could deal with it like a forum Nazi but we don't. Like I said, we're a close knit community, almost a family. It sounds really stupid, believe me, I know.......but this is how we need to handle it. There's more to the story that I won't say until the situation has been dealt with, but it has to do with the management of our site and the management of someone famous and them being able to revoke our licensing agreement.

I don't need to know where the car exists or who specifically owns it, I just need to be able to prove where that pic came from.

BTW, love your avatar man. 1-9-06....join the revoultion!

Probably lifted off cardomain.com, where it was likely stolen from another place and round and round we go.

I'm sorry but no, I cannot. I'm asking for help, but I can't give anything in return. I just put this out here as a long shot.

From the pic provided I would guess it is possibly a UK registered car.
The wipers look to be set for a RHD country. Trees look bare so pic was taken winter time & houses look British style. So does your friend have a British accent or visit these shores on a regular basis?

Of course the pic could have been 'reversed' making it a LHD car. Hard to tell from the shields, wheel hub logos & script on the number plate.

This may be the same car:
    http://www.tomhartley.com/detail?template=/tomhartley2005/hitlistdetail&vid=11776527&make=12&dealer=3192&pn=11&orderby=price_desc&lang=en&country2=GB&vids=12083810,11748718,12121026,12124334,11945367,11776527,11639527&vidindex=5

It is for sale in Swadlincote, Derbyshire.
Quite a few characteristics of the car are the same:
Spider, TDF Blue, European license plate, Rosso Scuderia brake calipers, fender logo shields, crema interior, crema covers on roll bars.

There cannot be that many 360 cars with all 7 of those traits the same.

Sorry it is not the same picture though.

Be sure to click the "Zoom" button in the link in the post above to see some better pictures of the car.

That white advertisement sticker for "Tom Hartley" on the front bumper seems to point to them being the same car, but it's tough to read what the sticker on the front bumper of the picture in the original post actually says...

LOL... if is was Aaron White, then this guy would definitely be a repo man or an investigator.

Good question Officer... Since he didn't provide a link, I think he's caliming the car is his and someone else probably told him to produce the hi-res original.

I can't. You don't trust me enough to believe who I am and I don't trust you enough to believe that you or someone else won't go over there and say something. I get how retarded this sounds. I was really going out on a limb here. I just figured I'd put it out there and if someone knows, great! Honestly, I never thought of the whole cop/repo man thing.....it's just something the average guy doesn't think of. Anyhow, I respect where you're coming from and for that, I will end my search for the picture. Pleasure to meet you all, have a Merry Christmas and be safe! I wish each and every one of you safe travels.

Given that the Ferrari circles are rather small, odds are, that we could help you with your quest, but your reluctance to provide a link, or more specific details, is somewhat suspicious. Plus, when someone joins this forum for alternative motives (other than his heartfelt appreciation for all-things-Ferrari),well then ...you can't blame this community for being on its guards.

    You see...we too are a "close-knit" community. ;)

Exactly, and you f360bd could be a common thief.

Judge, you need to edit your post to remove the info on who's it may be I should think.

C'mon guys, cut him some slack. All he asked for was another picture of the car. Does he really need to provide a urine sample for that?

Yep... I don't see any reason not to help him with the source of the pic if someone happens to know. It may be a little frustrating that we don't get to see (and participate) in the ownage but from a moderator perspective I can understand why he wouldn't want an influx of traffic that might interfere with what he is trying to accomplish.

As for the argument that it might be some sort of security issue..... If this guy had come and made the claim that the car was his there would be a line of people who would post precise evidence of the car's whereabouts and not think twice about it.

Problem is it seemed fishy at first.... Then got down right creepy when he said he could not tell us the forum that he runs that was the reason to bring up the question in the first place.

My cop radar says that that means he lied to us. And to lie over something as trivial as that is down right odd.

But Mark makes a good point, too.

Can't F360BD (the original poster) just PM a forum link to DrStranglove?

That way, only one fchat user knows the link, and the rest of us can trust DrS that F360BD is legit. DrS could promise not to post anything on the other forum until all is settled.
