Hello -- I am looking at switching from a 911 c4s to a 2015 FF. The car in question has ~20k miles and priced in the high 150s. Two questions: 1) would welcome any reactions to this compression test (I have asked dealer why it's an 8 cylinder test for a 12 cylinder car...); 2) the car was involved in a minor front end ding but fixed by ferrari and appears flawless today. Attached are pics of the car (note: it was "wrapped" when incident occurred).

How would you all think about buying a car that had front end damage like this? This will be replacing my (almost) daily driver so will see real use etc.

Thanks in advance for your help.

That compression test looks terrible, almost a 20% difference? And of course the fact that they sent you the results from a V8 is a huge red flag.

As for the damage, might just be the wrap but it looks like the hood was creased, hopefully it was replaced. Regardless its now a car with a story, even if it looks fine and never causes you issues when you go to sell it you'll have a harder time and likely won't get as much. As TT said, if you can get a clean one for that price, why would you want one with a story?

Thanks all for the advice! I visited the car to see it. The hood was replaced. Paint meter on hood is 4 and 8-12 everywhere else. On the upside, the car did get a new PTU last month. That said, I agree with all your guidance... A car with a story is worth less than one without.

The dealer did this one. Any PPI person should be able to and they'll prob actually do all 12 cylinders ;)
