Serious buyer, cash on hand, reside in Northeast US
I have not seen a top end gt4 for sale in the US for at least 3 years (at least publicly advertised). Someone is hoarding them. Anything specific you are looking for? Good luck with search.
This one will be coming to market shortly. It's almost done , to date, the best gt/4 I've seen , amazing how beautiful these cars are when redone. Keep on the look out for it if you are serious, it's a great original color combo as well. Nice change from the red ones we see Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is the interior redone ....with all the new rubber seals around the door frames. It has such a beautiful sound /thump when you close the doors. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good day BR, Very nice! I have a soft spot for Silver GT4s... personally I think they look the best in this Color. Cheers, Sam
Join the crowd. I'm looking for one as well. Not to sell through my dealership; I want a really nice one for my personal collection. Easy to find "dodgy" ones for sale, very difficult to find a good one.
#10314 is about to be completed too, and is also going back to the original color - Blue-Dino-Met. Not sure I'm going to want to part with it too soon though. But eventually I will. Complete engine rebuild (with abt 2k miles) + reconditioned (as new) gearbox (done by Eric @ Auto Gallery), new paint (currently down to bare metal) new(er) interior. No jack or tools... Ran very nice when I started the rebuild. '75, but has (nicer looking - Sorry Robert, it's true!) series II grille. Old pics show grille missing, but I have a new one that's being installed. Lots of info on the car here in old threads. For the right price, I might be tempted.
I looked for a while for a "top end" GT4. The ones that exist are being held and only come up once a year or so. Good luck let us know when you find one. I've flip flopped on selling mine probably 15 times but i'll end up keeping it and bringing it back to original.
Looks like we're finally getting a bit of respect. A fellow offered to buy mine stopped at a traffic light this morning.
I don't know, if THIS car is still available, but it is as perfect as mine. The Ex-owner (of both cars, THIS and mine) invested more than 210.000,- Euros in my GT4 and in total more than 220.000,- Euros in this car. Documentary is complete ! It is definately the one and only PERFECT GT4 available. It's priced at 135.000,- Euros - and that's realy cheep ! See the link ... Mario Bernardi - Klassische Automobile - Cars for sale - Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino PS. I searched for about 6 years for a GT4 before I found the sister of this car and bought her 2012 for 95.000,- Euros - and it was also cheep at this time - for THIS car !
Yes - he has some great ones in his collection and wish we could see progress on #1, but the anticipation may be more fun if it all rolls out at once. I too had someone stop and pull into the gas station on Saturday to asked if I'd sell mine and what I would ask for it. I said it isn't for sale so didn't throw a number out, and he didn't make an offer. After a nice exchange he left. To the OP, what state are you in- that may make a big difference if you narrow down to a 75 like us California left coasters.
Just ran across the add, not suprised its sold, really nothing much out there. No one is selling, I'm sure not!
Did you see the restored '79 on ebay? It's not that difficult to import a 35 year old car to US. Rocks is a respected shop in Toronto. (no affiliation )
