    Dear all, I would like to first introduce myself, my name is nik an owner of a black 95' 456 GT living in Bangkok, Thailand. I have followed many threads with interests. I must say I am thankful for your knowledge sharing.
    I suppose like many F car owners, I do find the sound of my V12 a bit of a disappointment. So after researching and reading all the valuable comments here, I will have my center mufflers replaced with straight pipes this coming weekend. Next step for me is, if possible, to find a used pair of end pipes either tubis or preferably capristos. If anyone have an extra pair and willing to part with them, kindly let me know.

    I'd like to hear your reaction to the sound after the straight pipes are installed. You may find the change from stock to Tubis or Capristos unnecessary if a more robust note is all you're looking for.

    Hi!! I have a pair of german FUCHS mufflers if you are interested. They have run maybe 2000 miles and are as good as new. They give a real "roar" and woke up my car. I have decided tp put on the catalytic converters again to get the car past the annual test and maybe to run it in the USA. Therefor, I am looking for no mufflers at all, just the tip.

    Dont run straight pipes separately. Run a kind of pipe that mixes the exhaust toghether. The car runs much better. I speak of experience!

    The mufflers are in Norway, Europe.....

    Thank you for your advice on the center pipe. I did just that and am very happy with the result.

    I am also very interested in your FUCHS mufflers. I would appreciate it very much if you could e-mail me the details ie. pictures, price.....ect. Also, is it a simple bolt-on process? My address : [email protected]

    Hi Nik, congrats on the 456. I have a black car in KL, Malaysia as well & will be collecting her next month after the Chinese NY.

    How does it sound with the straight pipe? Any "boom" sound in the cabin?
