I have seen two different types of original mousehair used for Dinos.... early version, similar to vinyl with white back side, quite thick late version, thinner with black back side can you post pictures of your original mousehair samples here, front and back side
I finally was able to make the radio blanking plate with used, faded mousehair. I decided to make it out of aluminum including the threaded shafts.
