So having a 360 Modena, Porsche 993 C2S & Plymouth Prowler in my stable is not enough anymore for my core exotic collection. I am very happy with them, itching to add something new. Keep in mind I also have a 99 Trans Am 30th Anniversary convertible and a 2005 Crossfire SRT-6 as everyday cars. Trying to stay under $100k, does not have to be new. Have been looking at BMW Z8 & Aston Martin V8. Really like the Vanquish and Ford GT but they are $150k. Oh, and a Carrera GT would be the ultimate, but not at roughly $350k.

Any ideas? Keep in mind I have gone thru a lot of cars that last few years, now looking for long term keepers.

My vote would be a red Z8 roadster ... very rare and good looking, even more rare and even better looking in that color

I love the Z8, and they're pretty rare which is always nice.

There for a while I was thinking about a 355 GTS, but ended up getting the 360 Modena (no looking back).

I thought about it, $15k markup and 10,000 being made a year--not too exclusive. Now, a GT500KR with only 500 to be made, that's another story. I can only imagine the market price on one if you can find one.

I like them, but where I live you see 5 to 10 each time you leave the community. Wifes got a Chrysler 300 that we slum in, no kids yet. When the time comes, then maybe a SUV.

512TR or Z8 would be my choice for newer, under $100K, cars.

I think one of the great things about unique cars is the community that comes with it. Z8 would be a great car, but what do you do with it besides drive it to work? Viper has a cult following and makes a fun track car. You could get an amazing Pantera for much less than your budget and open up a whole other world of passionate owners.

You already have so many capable cars... what do you really want to get out of another one?

Ever consider a Noble M-12 or a Noble M-400? You wont see another one very often. Maybe 200 in the USA. Car is very easy on the pocketbook. Mine sits for weeks at a time due to the competition with the rest of my collection but it fills a very unique void. The car is lightning fast, handles like a slot car and easier to get in and out of then a Lotus(which I also have). You could track it or just enjoy the twisties in your neighborhood. The car sparks alot of conversation at local shows and if kept in good cosmetic condition is a frequent show winner. The car has lots of tunability as well. That would be my choice and the price range is 75k for a M-12 used with 5k miles or M-400 brand new for 100k. Jon in Delaware

Do your due diligence relative to the Z8 frame issue.

    How 'bout a '97 993tt?
