Hey there FerrariChat. My name is Taylor Lee and i'm looking to do something special for my dad with his birthday and fathers day coming up. Before I get into what I want to do, I want to give some background on why he's so special to me and why I think he deserves this.
Growing up my dad was (and still is) my biggest role model. I always wanted to wear his shoes, play with his tools and all other stuff a son likes to do when he's little. Right around age 3 my dad started to come to grips with the fact that my mom had a serious drinkinb problem. When my parents got married my dad stopped working. He works in real estate and while the market was good, he made enough for all of us. As my moms addiction progressed and drugs soon entered the picture we tried sending her to treatment centers. We sent her to 3 or 4 different ones and she refused to take any of them seriously. Attending all of these centers took a pretty good financial toll on my dad at the time. One night my dad woke up in screaming pain in one of his knees. Me and mom took him to the emergency room to get it checked out. After extensive testing the doctors discovered he had the MRSA (might be spelling that wrong) virus. They were going to have to operate to cut out as much as they could, but a knee replacement was going to be inevitable in the next few years. My dad had to take off weeks of work to recover and money was growing ever thinner. My mom continued her alchohol and drug fueled rages while my dad sat at home in pain. My dad finally had enough and filed for seperation from my mom. In the seperation he agreed to pay her some amount of money ( I don't know the exact amount) every month for the next several years. Before the seperation was all said and done, disaster strikes again. While out on a dirt bike trip my dad took a nasty fall, tearing his ACL. He was rushed to the ER, only to be told his other knee is now done for. At this point, doctors said he needs to have both knees replaced. Many weeks without being able to work finishing seperation buisiness took its toll. My dad was confused, tired and stressed. At the time we also had my grandma living close by in an assisted living facility. We were her primary choice for getting out and getting errands done. While dad was layed up we still had to make ends meet with her as well. By this time, the real estate market is in no decent shape and my dad is very worried. He worked seven days a week, on crutches for a long period, then with a cane, just pushing through the pain. After the surgery settles, the knee pain doesnt quite stop. He goes through several doctor visits, to be told "it should just go away, we dont really know why you're still hurting". He also in the last several years has lost both of his parents. When his dad died there was all sorts of issues with money laundering and people changing the will around. My dad fought hard in court for what my grandpa wanted and did eventually win. He also very recently lost his best friend to a drunk driving accident. There is a lot more stories I can write on, but I don't want to make this just a sob story. What I want to do is make a difference in his life because he has made such a difference in mine.
Cars and motorcycles have always been a huge part of our lives. It's something we have always done together. For my 18th birthday my dad took us to Dirtfish rally school in snoqualmie and it was a blast. Last year he also took us to the rusty wallace experience where we drove nascars. I want to give him an experience this time. We love watching top gear and he always talks about how much he would love to drive the super cars they get to drive. What I am looking to do is assemble a group of cars for him to drive. His three favorites are the more modern Lamborghini's and Ferrari's and the nissan GT-R. As far as Ferrari's the 458, 430 and things of that nature are ones he really loves. I am simply reaching out and asking for your help. If any of you are willing to allow him to have and experience of a lifetime, please let me know. I'm also asking that if you know any owners of Lamborghini's or GT-R's that would be willing to help, please spread the word. We live in the Seattle area and can drive anywhere up to portland and idaho. Any costs as far as gas and isurances I will absolutely cover. I will also compensate if need be. If any of you are interested please comment on this thread, or email me at [email protected]. I will be posting this message on some other Lamborghini and GT-R forums incase you see it elsewhere. I appreciate your time, thanks guys!

So where are you trying to set this up Taylor.

And, if cost is no object there are commercial services who sell exotic car weekend drives with several cars in the rotation.

For that matter, I have seen various exotics available for rental by the hour.

Sounds like this driving experience by World Class Driving is exactly what you're looking for (Lamborghini, Ferrari, GT-R, and more), and probably less expensive than compensating a number of different car owners for fuel, insurance, rental/usage, wear/tear/damage, and their personal time:

You might also talk to the Ferrari dealers in Seattle and Portland. They might be willing to help you out. They're both pretty darn nice.

Pretty sure they have Living Social deals for the Ferrari /Lambo driving experience every week or two.

Thanks for all of the replies. I'm looking to set this up anywhere in the Seattle, Portland or Idaho areas. Assuming everything Comes together, I was going to ask who ever participated where they might know a good place would be for my dad to experience these cars. As far as services in my area personally, I have yet to find any. I obviously could be missing something, but Google has yet to lead me in the right way. I have talked with world class driving and xtreme xperience. Both unfortunately don't offer anything in my areas at this time. I have emailed my local Porsche, audi, Lamborghini and Bentley dealers but no one has replied. I don't want to make it seem as all hope is lost because it's not. If there's someone I can get in contact with who you know offers this service in the seattle/Portland area please feel free to let me know.

Again, where specifically are you located Taylor?

The exotic rental folks have locations all over and coordinating with one commercial entity would be much easier than coordinating with several exotic owners.
