    Hey all,

I'm looking to purchase a 360 Spider and am starting to do my research. I read through the FAQ stickied at the top of the forum and still have a couple of questions:

    * when it comes to the campaigns, a number of threads talk about "running the VIN" to see what campaigns were done. I got the CarFAX for one I was looking at (an '01) and it didn't mention anything about those, where do I get that information?

    * I'm in Canada and will likely wind up buying a US car since the selection is better and thus will be doing most of the dealings over the phone. When it comes to doing the PPI what'd be the best way of finding nearby authorized service dealers? I suspect having it sent down to the closest Wal-Mart auto service shop won't quite be sufficient. ;)

    Thanks!

Any F dealer can tell you if all campaigns are completed. As for PPI, post a msg in the corresponding geographical section and they will guide you.

Do not let the selling party do the PPI or pick a place for you unless you verify that place as being independent of the seller and recommended locally.

    Good luck.

Check your local import laws. There are a few on this board that have tried this and as I understand, it is very difficult. You may need to locate a care in Canada to make this work.

    Awesome, thanks guys.

Yeah, there's a bit of a process unfortunately and it gets sticky if you have to make any changes to the car in order to meet "different safety standards". We'll see how it goes.

I imported a 430 this past summer. The process of importing a car is not overly complex, depends on how you do it can involve significant $$. Feel free to PM me if you have questions.

Given current exchange reates, it will be well worth your while to bring in a car from the US.
