So after about 9 months of looking, and IMO missing the boat on 2 F430s, Im about ready to give up.

I am in the metro Atlanta area and have looked at more Ferraris than I can count both local and across the US. I finally want to go ahead and pull the trigger, but am getting drug down in the details. I am finding it difficult to even achieve a simple PPI. I am also finding it difficult to price compare perfect to near perfect, and what type of value that should be.

For instance FoA has a Blue F430 that looks perfect, minus a few rock chips on the front, and the local Lambo dealer has another F430 that looks good but if you look close the weather stripping, clear bra, seats, and just general interior shows more wear; however still near perfect. There is a bout a 6k asking price difference between these beauties. Both are similar spec'd, and the Blue one at FoA also has about 9k less miles. I know all of this will be subjective but Ferrari experts what is your opinion on those type of values?

Also, does any one know of a broker that specializes in purchasing used Ferraris, that I could potentially off-load the purchasing process, and maybe avoid some first time Ferrari buyer mistakes?

    Any input is much appreciated.
    Thanks!

A few threads down in this forum you will see user needs Seth Thomas inquiring about selling his 430. I would reach out to him and try to get it. I've seen the car a number of times and it has been cared for very well.

I know you weren't exactly asking for this info but you are shopping for one and I happen to know his is very nice.

Wish you the best in you hunt. Don't be discouraged in your search. When buying a car that cost as much as a house, you should take your time and get the right one for you.

Could the blue car at FoA be his?

Jim. Seth's car is red with the camel interior...and is a 6spd/3 pedal car at that! (Seth takes great car of his cars as-well, and would be a nice purchase)

Another member is always a good choice. Mileage doesn't matter if well maintained .

Post what you would want (color, options) and someone may reach out to you.

    Thanks for the replies guys!

    I am looking for a F1 F430 15k or less miles
Exterior (in order of preference): Grey, Silver, Black
Interior dash & wheel must be black
Interior carpets must be black or tan
Seats & doors (in order of preference): Tan, Black, Red
I am indifferent about most options beyond what is listed.

    Thanks!

Ed Bolian at Lambo Atlanta will look all over the country for an F430 with the options you desire. He is very helpful, he'll answer any questions you have and will give you experienced advice. If you ever plan on buying a new Ferrari some day, however, you'll definitely want to establish a relationship with FoA. You can ask Craig Forbes to bid on a car you've found at another dealership and you can get that car from him at a similar, if not the same price. That way you'll have established buying history with them.

Well gentlemen, if all goes well I should be picking up my first Ferrari this weekend, a F430 coupe. I will report back with details and who I worked with once the purchase is 100% complete; however so far so good...

Well just picked up my 2007 F430 (first Ferrari) from Motorcars of Ga (Lamborghini of Atlanta). They purchased the car for me from another dealer up north. It was a fairly smooth process, and had a great experience through out it. They were able to take care of all the details, negotiations, and issues; which made it very easy.

Nick Underwood took care of everything and I would certainly recommend him.
