I doubt that you would want one of those, every one that I've seen look really heavy and pretty beat up.

Do you want open or enclosed? Open is easy to tow with even a smallish SUV but has no protection against the elements or place to store anything else that you might want to bring. Enclosed trailers come in all sizes from 16' and up, are heavier to tow (but can still be towed by most larger SUVs), can carry lots of additional stuff to support your car and of course, provide protection from the weather and thieves.

I have a feather lite trailer, enclosed, 24 feet + V-nose, black exterior, full diamond plate floor+ ramp, white vinyl walls+ ceilings, aluminum tandem wheels , the trailer is a 2003 and has less than a thousand miles, all aluminum construction,Its a top of the line trailer,I would sell it for $ 9K , considering all the open trailers I looked at for 5 K , this one was a steal, usally lists for 18K back in 2003.

Check on racecars.com they usually have new and used trailers for sale. I would imagine you can get a good deal right now as so many folks unfortunately are financially strapped to go racing.

PS: from everything and everyone I ever spoke with; get a closed trailer - can't see what is inside and no road debris bouncing off your car. Never cover a car with a tarp on an open trailer - the tarp will rub the paint off from wind buffeting.

I would definitely recommend a Trailex trailer. You can contact Anderson Chan (who is the NY rep.) @ (516) 286-2389. He's a great guy to deal with and sells many of the trailers to the Porsche racing community.

figure your at $5k for an enclosed trailer that will go a few seasons, $2000 will cover an open trailer.

I have a 2008 Enlcosed Trailex Trailer if you are interested. I just decided to sell it. I'm in Scottsdale, AZ. I've used it all of about 5 times. Still looks brand new. I have about $25k into it, but am open to reasonable offers. Call Steve or Zach 480.699.3095.

    Pictures -- http://s706.photobucket.com/albums/ww65/thestables_bucket/Trailex/

MORE INFORMATION: Overall Length is 22'6", Overall Width is 8'6". Interior Width between fenders (wheel wells) is 80". This is a beautiful trailer and a chance to buy basically a brand new trailer at a used price. For car guys wanting the best, this is your trailer. Light enough to pull with a small SUV. Great for those cars with little to no ground clearance. The long ramps make it easy to fit almost all exotics (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ford GT) including muscle cars and vintage cars. You can even open your driver's door up once you are in the trailer. No more climbing out the window. Visit www.trailex.com for more information on Trailex trailers.
