After owning both an M3 and a 348, I much prefer the Ferrari.

The M3 wasn't much more affordable to operate (given that you actually DRIVE it). $2,000 valve adjustments every few years, magical high dollar German oil, etc. Heaven forbid an SMG pump go out! Not to mention depreciation - I lost just as much in resale on the Ferrari as I did the BMW. And for all that expense, you have a car that I regularly see spoiled college kids driving... hardly seems worth it.

i just want to say first off, this is a great forum with great people. everyone is generous with their time and knowledge.

wingfeather, if you think me posting his vile pm is worthy of me being banned then there is no need to ban me, i will just leave. there are times when people or dealers or whomever need to be outed. if you don't think this rises to that level then we can both move on. just give me the word.

For those of you haven't seen marcello2's posts before, this is nothing new. Always repulsive and makes no sense.

 

Further to my point, here are 2 PM's he just sent me:
