Looks like all the "renders" got the C8 rear end wrong

While I like the clear engine covers that are so prevalent today, I do miss seeing buttresses on mid engine cars. This could be a really visually interesting car, if GM does it right.

 

Look closely at the mules, there are two of them. One looks to be hard top convertible, and the other looks to be a hardtop. The flat engine cover car looks to be the convertible.

 

The front and rear overhangs are pretty big, particularly the rear overhang. Chevy I'm sure insisted on a bigger trunk than their Euro rivals.

I think the proportions look good here. Front end is sharp, rear is a little big but as noted probably due to larger trunk.

Is it just me, or do those front brakes look tiny?

 

Excited to see final product...minus what may be the ugliest wheels on the planet. Good gracious those are awful.

 

They are, but don’t forget if this is going to be C8, the base model will have budget friendly rotors and calipers.

 

I’m very excited for the car but won’t be a buyer until the performance Variants arrive in 2021/2022.
