Hi guys, tried to look through forum but couldn't find anything on this. Both sides of my 575 have this problem, specifically it's the rubber strip closest to the front bumper, about 10" long. They both held on only by the bottom edges and the rubber strip is rubbing against the wheel when moving. Has anyone had the same problem? How did you fix it? Thanks in advance for any advice!

I have exactly the same problem on my 456M on one side. I have not fixed it yet but will do over the next week or so. I'll update on what I find!

Thanks! I have tried to "push" back into the front panel edge but keeps popping back out.

I would skip the rivets and use 3M super weather strip adhesive. GTS Bruce

I used that adhesive alone the first time around. Two years later, at Pocono, they popped loose again.

They should have been secured that way at the Factory.

Barry's 550 sees service at Daytona, so sees speeds a lot higher than most Maranellos. He needs the extra holding power of the rivets.

Terry, when that rubber gasket herniated out of the slot at Pocono Raceway, it started flapping against the fender. It sounded like my bicycle when I was a kid and I clipped baseball cards on the wheel forks to flap against the spokes.

I pitted in and pulled the gasket out figuring it was a $175 part that I didn't want to lose on the track. Turns out it's a bargain. Only $4.50 at Ricambi!
