Triumph, 8k pound limit. It for my garage the best. Was $3,200 installed.

Just use a come along. A tow rope attached to the sway bar right at the two u shaped hold downs, and a cheap ratcheting come along, and it goes up easy.
I think having it on the lift may make it even HARDER to do your job, as the liftplates your wheels roll on and the cross bars of the lift are always in the way.
I had one of my TR's on my four post lift, and traded spaces with another Ferrari as I couldn't do hardly anything with it up. I'm going to install a Mohawk two post lift shortly, so I can work on my TR's.

Doing an oil change on a four post lift is pretty doable, but considering how much neck craning you're going to have to go through sticking parts in from the sides to do the diff,, you may be back to your jack stands.

That’s my worry now, where were you last week lol.

Going to order the 2 post lift attachment so I can lift the rear up and remove wheels.

Just browsing the forum and came across your thread. I've read every post. Great work OP! I don't have the mechanical ability to change a diff out, so I'm in awe of your skill. I've met Shamile a time or two, IIRC once in this very TR. He keeps his cars in top shape so unfortunate timing on the break. Good luck finishing up, I am looking forward to seeing this resolved.

Yes, my garage is 9’4” and I can raise the ramps 55” off the ground. The Lamborghini is going underneath it as it’s only 46” tall

Car is up, rear cover of again. I need to find some low profile jack stands, 6” height, so I can use the cars jack points and get the rear wheels off the ramp.

    Any suggestion on stands?

LOL I’ve been watching this awesome thread but got a great chuckle out of this post. Back in the 80s as a kid I would have bribed the owner to let me help.

My solution to the problem of pushing it on the lift is "a cheapy electric winch, mounted to a 4x4 10 ft long across the front of the lift. Hook it to a tow hook, push a button, someone inside the car to steer. It goes up without the neighbor kid.

be carful that they not bend the part where they push

so now you will see how "easy" it will be to work ;) , even you know this of course with your other lift. buit now no more to decide on what car you may work and also have 1 more space for the next car, but then cannot work anymore :)

Yea I had no luck. And I sold my Jeep last week with my come along and a winch lol.

I used 2 3500lb ratchet straps to pull her up slowly.

as single plate you will not get this new, only if possible then a complete set. try to get a used plate ( I think, but not sure, same porsche has? go to a porsche technician and show him the plate, may be he can help ) or a broken diff from someone who not needed the inside parts. btu also I think newman can help?

    looks good
ask them if they also will sell you this one plate you need? but may be they only sell a set because of the thickness of the plates they did other than original and only a set will work right?

I’d prefer to buy both new, already replacing all clutch plates. Heck if I can find a set of gears I’ll replace those too, may as well replace it all I’m in there.
