I have scoured the technical as well as the 348/355 threads for the thread regarding the gentlemen that purchased the 348 sitting in a warehouse and all the issues he uncovered as he restored the car-I know it all ended poorly for the poster being banned for some reason(s). Please, I do not want to stir that debate-just want to reread the post again for some good grounding on both what to do as well as NOT due in a 348 purchase, and, frankly, it was a great read. Either the user or post would be great. Thanks.

I agree. I didn't realize he was still banned, I thought it was a temporary ban.

Gentlemen: Thank you very much. And thanks for leaving "the rest of the story" at rest.

The moral of this as well as many other 'cheap' Ferrari stories, is There is No Such Thing as a Cheap Ferrari!!

To buy anything other than a well documented and cared for car, is a dice roll at best, and Russian Roulette at worst.
