I have a 2015 Cali T. I had the same thing. It turns out the right paddle shifter stopped working. So could never get it in gear but still could reverse. They flat bedded it to a Ferrari tech who confirmed it was the paddle shifter. Not covered under powertrain warranty. They replaced the paddle shifter and $4,000 later it was working fine and continues to be fine.
Not sure if 2015 was prone to this problem but that could be it.

What happens if you pull both paddles?

There is a way to get it in neutral without using paddles. If the car will not go in anything but park and reverse, do the following.

Start car and put it in reverse. Sit with the car in reverse and your foot on the brake. After 2 minutes or so, the car will automatically go into neutral to protect the clutch. Now switch off the car and within 3 seconds of switching it off, hit the start button WITHOUT starting the car. Car is now in carwash mode. You may need to release, the e-brake manually pu pulling the small handle down on the dash left to the steering column.

By the way, if the car can go into park, the gearbox is fine. It's probably a faulty switch in the paddle.

New spin on this problem.. My 2015 Cali T will not go into first from park when I pull the paddle. I get the attached message telling me to push the PS button. I push PS and it goes into first. Everything else is normal. Paddles seem to otherwise work fine (manual mode shifting, etc). Any ideas?

Go to your dealer. There's not much you can do yourself with odd problems like that.

Thank all for response, had no luck with car wash mode, but was able to limp the Cali onto a flatbed, battery replaced and dx with paddle shifter failure, broken relays i believe, cost of new paddles $ 5,500.00, the failure not a surprise given the feedback here, but 99% of the time i keep the tranny in auto !!!! No way the paddles abused or overused.

David ill guess your Cali has early issues with the paddle shifters, heading to where mine ended. When i can ill post pics of the broken unit, and will keep all posted

    Thank all again.
