    hey thanks guys,

we're pretty happy, my son is in school and my wife is getting over the stress of schlepping hotels with my son and 4 Labs... my solar power system gave me ice a magical luxury in 100 degree black smoke!!!

fire is part of life out here, we are ready, have the eqpt, we fight and we do ok... the fire fight is something i actually enjoy, but the hot, messy cleanup and re-org after is wearing.

i plan to tell my wife it was a message from God - him burning the prius and the S4 and sparing the strad and the gt3:)

here's the key tools: 2000' of 1 1/2" line with nozzles and connector for hydrant and 2.5 million gal tank 2000' vertical feet above me [thank you LV muni water system], and we clear hillsides for 800'

view from my deck sunday 3 pm... the sets were large and the surfers were out

Oh, no, Bill! That is so heartbreaking. Thank God you and family are fine, but the loss of your home and beautiful car hurts! I've been hearing of so many wonderful cars being lost....Austin Healey, etc. What a tragedy and shame! I am so sorry for you and the others suffering from this horror.

You know, sometimes you can't win for the losing.

A buddy of mine lives between Escondido and Rancho Santa Fe.

The fire stopped this ---- short.

However, he had a sprinkler system installed on his roof. It worked all too well. In other words, the gutter were clogged and, thus, the water run into his basement.

    He was gone four days.

Glad you and your family are safe. They're making more Ferraris and Porsches. None of the rest of this counts.

I'm very sorry about what happened... fortunately the only irreplaceable things (lifes) were preserved, and that's the most important. Good luck with everything...

My deepest condolences for your losses. Definitely glad to hear you and your family are safe, as material possessions can be replaced. That being said, I hope you can find an equally stunning 360 Strad and GT3RS to replace the ones you lost.

Pls do not throw yours cars away!.
They are the remains of a huge natural disaster and in consequence, could be of interest to display them in a public site to sensibilize the current and future generations to care our Mother Earth.
It is necessary to turn past defeats into futures victories.
Wish the best to you all for the time to come. We are to your entre disposal.

Devastating news about the fire. When all gets back to normal it would be interesting to hear how you were treated for the various insurance claims. Always wondered how they make someone whole who suffers a loss such as yours. All the videos and pictures can never capture ALL the things a family has accumulated over the years. Good Luck.
