Has anyone heard or seen Tom lately?
Sadly, I think he and later his wife both passed away in 2015. "Jachim, Thomas J., 64, Ontonagon, Mich., formerly of Hammond area, passed away May 5 and Rita "Joni" (Metzger) Jachim, 62, of Ontonagon, formerly of Hammond area, passed away Nov. 21." found here: Area deaths for Saturday, December 26, 2015 His last activity here listed as May 4th: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/members/80087.html RIP Tom and Rita.
S***. That's what I was afraid of. He used PM often and I hadn't heard from him in some time. I knew his wife was not well but I did not about him. Great guy and I will miss his contributions.
Wow... Very sorry to hear this as well. Always enjoyed his take on things. One cool cat! He will be missed. RIP
Sad to hear this. RIP It's also incredible these made news in the US. We have nothing like that here. People just pass away, unnoticed to the public...
Do we have an fchatter RIP section ? Men like these should be remembered - we had many very nice people leave us unfortately.
I recall that as well. And he seemed interested in selling his cars because of it. RIP to Tom and his wife. Edit: Today's my anniversary! Post # 48
I've noticed in other forums too - it's kind of strange posts can be read after people passing... Be careful and always be considerate with what you post in general, you may have relatives in the future reading your posts, it will always be there for all to see!
They were contemplating a move, to Arizona?, in search of a better climate for the both of them....a Southern guy cannot IMAGINE the winters, in the UP.... RIP lostbowl.......I did some parts deals with him, he was a great guy.
Sad that he sold and then regretted; and all for nothing... It seems life is often unfair to the good guys.
