    Does anyone here happen to have any pictures of the lotus elan coupe concept? It's supposed to be based on the M100 (new Elan).

    the new elan is based on the new elan? huh?

    Otherwise, though, I highly doubt lotus will be introducing a FWD car anytime soon.

    I actually meant the Elan from the early '90s, but I said 'new' so people wouldn't start posting pics of the old Elan coupe....I just have made that clearer.
    The reason I want those pics is, there's an Elan coupe concept car in a garage near me, but it's in bad shape, and I was looking for some pics to see what it was like when it was in a better shape. It's basicly just a grey Elan with a roof attached to it.

    Looks like a sweet car - those were great handling FWD or RWD. How driveble is it? Sorry though I don't have any other pics.

    Ugh, what a POS that was, seemed to be more Izuzu than Lotus. I was really worried about Lotus then

    I read this hilarious article about the "new" Elan. It stated how car shapes connote power, strength & PENIS size. The Corvette, Viper, E Type all had long front hoods, the TR, Diablo etc all had long rear hoods but the ELan was short in front & back, Uh Oh ) LOL

    I just ran across An Elan a couple of weeks ago at a show. owner has kept it in a like new state and his impressions were that the front wheel drive drove much better than what he imagined it would have felt like. He said "No torque steer at all". Although he did polish the Izuzu emblem off of the intake.
