If anybody is thinking of getting either of these cars the time to order is now, unless you want one with bumpers. Cars that enter the production line after 1/1/7 will have a thicker front body and bumperettes on the back (more weight). Exige this year is only available in the USA in supercharged form. It is a fun car and if you car fit in it is a great replacement for a Miata as a daily driver. ken
I have not heard this yet, but I have heard they are lowering production ## to ease slow sales. Do you know how much more weight? I am thinking of ordering my exige S early next year to be arrive in spring, can you lead me where you find the info? Thanks!
The weight increase is about 40 pounds..sourced from two different dealers. How reliable that is I have no clue. If youre after an Exige you should order it now; I've also heard that after 1/7 that they will not import this car. The low numbers sold are not justifying adding "bumpers".
