    Hello everyone,
For the first time in six years, Louis Vuitton organised a Classic Run from Monaco to Venice. All the biggest collectors were here and the first stage was EPIC! The cars wen through the Col de Vars at 7000 feet, under the snow, and then got back in the valley under terrible rain.

Nevertheless, the pictures are quite spectacular and I believe this is my best report this year. Please visit this link http://arthomobiles.fr/LVCSR/lvcsr.htm to discover all pictures of this extraordinary day and don't hesitate to spread the link if you like it.

    Cheers!

Wow, great shots. Very nicely done. Looks like a great event.

Those GTO's must be loud because the occupants are wearing head muffs/head sets.

The guys in the open cars must have neen absolutely miserable and cold, but to look at the pictures they don't look it.

The GTO belongs to Tom Price, a very notorious collector. The Zagato is 0515GT, à 250 GT long wheel base. It Will be at Villa d'Este concorso in 10 days

well, the fact that he has owned several GTO for a lot of years shoulb be enough for him to be notorious among tifosis but he also owns a 250 California, 500 TRC... Besides, It is believed he bought the whole lot of Kroymans 21 Ferrari. I don't know how much of them he kept but this is a serious collection.

Oh! And he does not hide but goes out with his cars.

These pictures, particularly those in the open car,s makes a London to Brighton Run in the rain seem like a picnic. It shows that even some of the wealthy have a certain amount of temporary and totally reasonably insanity that we all should aspire to. tongascrew

Right about insanity. And we should be glad they do or all the cars would stay in secure rooms otherwise.

Awesome to see these people actually drive these mega expensive cars in those conditions.
And to think that so many owners of current modern cars find and exuse not to drive them.

Wow there were several unique Ferraris in there! Amazing to see $10-$30 million dollar cars parked in the mud and driving in the snow. I really enjoy seeing them out of captivity.
