There were so many bad calls today. It's sad when even after video review the announcers are perplexed that the calls stood. I understand the "conculsive evidence" thing, but geez.

There were many that come to mind, but the two biggest for me were:

Shaincoe's catch in tonights game was a touchdown.

Roethlisberger's goal line touchdown that turned out to be a fumble. Miami CLEARLY recovered it after the fumble, yet the refs gave the ball back to Pittsburgh because there was inconclusive evidence that Miami recovered it. HUH? This gave Pittsburgh possession back and they got the game winning field goal.

There were a lot of other really bad calls today. Anybody else ticked off by the reffing today?

    Nope.

Because 'what goes around comes around', every team out there has had a lot of bad calls go against them - and for them, it all evens out in the end.

I have no dog in this fight. I just saw bad call after bad call all day. I never have seen this many blatantly bad calls, is all.

    I agree.

Like last week, Andre Johnson could have been called for offensive pass interference, instead it went the other way. The Texans (and all Houston teams) are use to getting the calls against them and not for them.

    With good reason!

They will always be the Oilers, it's a curse they accepted when they chose to move.

No, the Titans would be the Oilers. I think you're backwards.

The Tennessee Titans will always be the Houston Oilers, The Cardinals will always be the St. Louis Cardinals, the Rams will always be the Los Angeles Rams, The Raiders were ALWAYS the Oakland Raiders, and the Los Angeles Jaguars will always be the Jacksonville Jaguars - or is that going to be the Los Angeles Bills?

And then we have the Baltimore Colts...

I didn't see any of the calls in question, but I think what the NFL should do is endorse refs to call plays biased towards the degree of difficulty. If a receiver makes an incredibly acrobatic catch while dragging his toes, it should default to being a catch. If they want to review it, so be it. But it seems like too many times the refs are on their heels, especially considering the rule about "completing the process".
