Lovely RS and RS replica spotted today

I've just changed the oil filter to the correct version - looks so much better than the white version available thru normal sources. The correct was sourced thru orange bar products .... BTW its one of 10 RHD Black RS's imported into UK...

Shot number 11 in Black and White is very well done. Looks brilliant.

 

The RS looks like the rhd one restored by kundensport a couple of years ago and sold by RM last year in London? Is that the car?

 

NOPE that was one of the 10 RHD RS in BLACK, but mine is a first series car and No3 into the UK and has been in my longer term ownership since 1992...... Chassis number is month and year I was born..... its a keeper if you had not worked that out yet ....

 

Very cool to know. I love my RS. Cool to see someone else who loves theirs too.

As Derek walked up to my car for the photo he commented that his old next door neighbor had a black RS - John Watson is his name he said you may recall he drove in F1 !! John has the first RHD Black RS registered in the UK ..... I still had my UK plates on the car at this stage - PPP999L
