    Hi

I have a strange issue with my 456M GT. Occasionally the red low voltage warning light comes up when I brake from high revs with the clutch engaged, and it disappear after about one second. If do the same with the clutch released (the clutch pedal pressed in), the warning light does not light up.

I have two theories for the cause - both based on that the engine revs drops faster when engine and brakes are linked.

Theory 1: The alternator belt slips on the because of sudden change in revs

Theory 2: The voltage regulator in the alternator is getting old and is a bit slow to adapt to changes

Has anyone had the same issue or any suggestions supporting one of my theories or ideas on how I can solve this issue?

    Regards. Ole Andreas
