I have a mondial T wihich is giving High emissions. (CO)

I have repalced lambda sensors , mass flow senors etc no change.

I guess I am looking at replacing the cats unless anyone else has any suggestions?

If I do replace the cats ( and I do not intend to change exhaust to tubi etc) does anyone have any recommedations as to what to use.

    Any advice appriciated.

I know there are lots of threads on changing all exhausts etc but this is a little more specific.

    Thanks

Oh and can anyone arrange for less rain in the uk!!!!

    Jon,

In order to determine if your cats are the problem, you'll need to take an exhaust sample both before and after the converters. If the CO level is the same, or near the same pre and post cat, the converter is not doing it's job. However, there are limitations as to what they can do, so your pre-cat exhaust emissions readings need to be in "the range". I would expect to see <1.5% CO and <200 ppm HC for the engine to be considered to be running properly.

    Regards,
    David
