Was getting ready to do this with my TE37s and the service tech called and told me I have leaky front struts :(

So short of replacing those much quicker at the lower seat position, I'm keeping my strut height stock

I'll likely get them done at an indy when I go for my annual in august

Hey there guys sorry to bring an old disccusion back from the dead, what spacers did everyone use on their FF? Is there a difference if I go novitec vs Eibach or H&R?

I lowered mine just using the stock coil overs, no need to buy aftermarket springs. I lowered it about a 1/2 inch front and rear; but you could far lower, I just wanted give it a slightly more aggressive stance. As far as spacers, I used hill engineering 11mm all the way around.

Not sure whereabouts in the world you are, but if UK, then I can recommend Hill Engineering. They'll ask you what wheels you have too in order to supply you with the correct length wheel bolts.

How’s the ride quality with lowering stock coilovers with spacers?

I'll be honest, I haven't noticed any difference at all. Had it this way for about 18 months now.

I'm sure the others who've done the same will be along soon to offer their view.

This is one of the best looking FFs I have seen to date. The wheels really set it off.

You should be able to build your own lowering kit with KW springs. I don't reccomend using the factory springs when your lower it, it will give you the wrong spring preload on the suspension. It will make the car feel soft a mushy. Here what I could come up with, it should be a copy of the novitec ones Image Unavailable, Please Login

Wow, very cool! I had no idea this was possible. I was considering looking into custom coilovers from companies like Alpine Scale, etc. Please update us on the results if you go the KW route.

I also love a badge-less FF. It looks so much sleeker IMO.

Did you go all the way down on the coilovers? 15mm on all 4 corners? Trying to achieve this look.

Yes that's correct. All the way down is only about 15mm. Any lower would require different springs.

I’m guessing you lowered the height of the fenders in relation to the ground by 15mm? 15mm of lowering based on the coilover rings possibly be too low?

Agreed. Really want to de-badge mine in the future.
