The suspension on your car can be lowered from the factory, just have to do alignment afterwords.

Make sure you have an alignment shop familiar with your car.
They will need a number of factory alignment shims to adjust camber.
If they don't have them, it is about $700 for a starter set to make sure you have what you need.
Forget about finding a $39.95 alignment......expect about $500 if they have the shims and have done it before.
Turn the spring perches down exactly four turns. That is 10mm drop.
Then adjust the alignment: camber and then toe. Pray your steering wheel is still straight.
Otherwise, you need a full center of axis car alignment with corner balancing.
You don't need new springs to lower the car.
Springs or not, you need shims and a proper alignment.

    Do not overdo :p
Mine is 3cm less lower than the Scud, I can't always drive it in the city (bad road condition)

I used Novitec springs. They are just amazing. Alignment should be done. Novitec springs work much better, compare to OEM.

This has been my experience as well in the past. We did a 458 on Novitec Springs and it rode and handled absolutely amazing!

    From what I gathered,
15mm gets us (cnd, usd) closer to Euro spec
20mm would be getting close to max on factory setup / every day city driving.
30mm use Novitec springs for track.

I'd like to drop my car too, afraid 30mm is too much for city driving in Canada.

The nice thing about the Novitec springs is that you can install them and adjust them to whatever height you want from stock to 40mm lower. Novitec recommends 30mm but you can go 25mm or 20mm if you don't want to go all the way to 30mm. Just tell your installer where you want it.

Does that novitec kit come with the isolators, tenders, bumps and like 6" springs in the pic? Same for the 360?

I ordered a set of the Novitec springs from Jason (Exotica) and had them installed last summer. They were dealer installed and I requested a 22mm drop. The car doesn't look slammed at 20ish mm but it definitely looks better. The US spec cars have too much fender gap IMO. I'll try to post some pics when I get a min this week.

I had an indy Ferrari mechanic lower mine 22mm approximately 3/4 inch with the factory springs. No problem at all with handling etc. It looks fantastic. 22mm doesn't sound like much but it makes a huge difference in the appearance. If anything it handles better now than before but I'm not a track guy.

WARNING! Do not lower it anymore! You will regret it. You will probably regret the 22mm drop. I scrape the front bumper all the time and we have good roads around here.

You must get a front and rear alignment afterward. I paid $800 for all.

Appearance and perhaps some handling improvement, but unless you're driving the car at close to its limit, most likely on a track, then the handling improvement isn't worth a lot (IMO). I'm not certain about changes to the aerodynamics. I know on my Porsche 911 S Porsche doesn't recommend changing only the front or the rear.

Mine was lowered, hated it, scraped on every little thing, raised it back up to scuderia stance, much better.
