I really want to lower my F430 and I would like to know peoples experiences that have done it.

Option 1 is to do the standard suspension. I am told that this is not ideal as it will make the handling more bouncy and soggy as you are extending the spring travel. The roads in the Uk are shocking and I do want to try and avoid catching the front with any further bouncy travel!

Option 2 is to get lowering springs, I think Eibach and H&R do them, now if you have these, I would like to know a couple of things if you please: A, what is the ride quality like, and B, when fitted where they just fitted to the shocks at the highest point or was they adjusted to suit.

Thanks and it would be great to hear your experiences

    Scud Springs !

Genuine, off the shelf and not expensive.
Couple that with a Scud geometry set up and you have a lowered car that is still relatively compliant with little penalty to pay in comfort. Of course with the added bonus of an improvement in handling.

Note, advisable to ditch the the standard rubber seat pads and go with the Scuds nylon ones.

    Part numbers as follows:

    Front Spring (Scud Steel): 256954
    Rear Spring (Scud Steel): 257179

    Spacer Lower (Scud Nylon): 181408
    Spacer Upper(Scud Nylon): 245623

Plenty low enough for all but the roughest of dirt tracks !
