Speaking of 1121112, there was some discussion here recently (again), about the exhaust sound in the movie. Well, I finally got around to trying the Blu-ray release the other day - and thankfully I rented before buying... The opening shots of 1121112 had been dubbed over with a buzzing 4-cylinder automatic!!! All that glorious howling and manual gear changes from the DVD and VHS were gone! I am just hoping there is more than one Blu-ray release and that one version might still have all the original car sounds to go with the reasonably improved picture quality.

Glad you sold it, now I get to look after it...…. being well kept and looked after. One of those "good enough" cars to be preserved as is without major restoration.

 

This list is now altered, 1121042 is now listed as RED & TM as of Autumn last yer. TM : Testa de Moro
After hours of searching through the Archives With Polo Storico at the factory, evidence found on the car together With additional papers in the Archives, the records have been set straight. Finally, after 10 yrs, we can finalise the restoration.

 

Turn signal lights NOT missing. They are on the shelf waiting to be fitted once the owner is content testing the car before further improvements. For some reason, testing is taking a long time...… lol

Good to know, but I actually meant missing off the car's fenders, these units would actually make the owner's testing safer.

 

Know what you meant…. impressed how quick you got the Picture of this car and posted it, must have spies everywhere….
Owner is happy and safe testing as is, just stays in front of other supercars from the era…. lol
