It's not 1260, that car belongs to our client here in the USA, it's not an S1 or S2, but an S3 as Emilio already revealed in post 751, from this you can figure out which car this is.
Laguna Beach, California - 1121374 was purchased by our client to be enjoyed, on Ferruccio Lamborghini's birthday he'd be happy to see one of his cars filling up again. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thank you for posting this Emilio! So many Countachs are restored with finishes that are unlike the original finish, resulting in an outcome that's not authentic. In this case the original Campagnolo wheels were sand-cast resulting in a texturized surface, and, note the paint finish which is not a highly metallized or brilliant silver which is often used nowadays, but rather a grey finish. Excellent post.

No this is another car, Mark's S1 you are thinking of (originally Bleu Acapulco) does indeed have a brown interior.
But for the wheels and the instruments, it looks downright familiar to me.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am off to Toronto on Friday to look into the logistics of shipping it to Italy for some light restoration work, and then formal importation so I can enjoy it here in Bologna. The engine may benefit from some new seals, the suspension would benefit from a few new rose joints. I would also like to rebuild the originally supplied wing if possible. After 42 years, I also wonder if the paint is getting a bit thin in some areas. I am trying to schedule a visit with Polo Storico in early September. I read a few mixed reviews in the past, but without hijacking the thread, I hope they are getting on top of things.
