This is one for the real die hards. I have been having a tough time finding the following information:

    1. How many LP400's were made without the periscope roof? I believe at least one was but would want a little more info if possible.

    2. How many LP400S were made with the periscope roof. I think I know of 3 but would like more info.

Any feedback / pictures would be appreciated.

1120098 was made without the Periscopa roof. Were there other LP400 after this car that also had a flat roof? I dont know but it is very likely. I have found that the works never did just 'one' of anything...

1120148, 1120202 and 1120222 all had Periscopa roofs but they were really LP400 modified with Wolf-Dallara features that became the basis for the LP400S. 1121030 is a genuine LP400S with a Periscopa roof. Were there other LP400S that also had a Periscopa roof? Same caveat applies...

The uprights that support the wing look a little odd, almost as if they are inverted or mounted backwards. Here is a picture of my 1984 see how the supports run forward on the deck lid instead of towards the rear of the deck lid, whats up with that? Not saying that its wrong I am just curious, I know there are at least three different styles of supports for these wings or maybe there are more than that. Sincerely Vic

Exactly. It has the early wide-buttress supports like the Wolf cars did.

strange the wing has side flaps though (could be they were added later)
it should be one of the early S, given type of wing and periscope roof
