I hope I didn't scroll past the answer, the finish of the frame= why does it appear to be so textured?
Looks like undercoating to me. It is commonly used in wheel wells to protect the inner fender from rocks that are picked up by the tires. Cheers Jim
I did notice that.. it made the rear stand out, hence the Q. I am about to paint my own frame, looking at all possibilities...
The frame @ the wheel wells (front & rear) plus the panels & underside have a more textured finish in the form of a durable undercoating application for protective purposes as applied by the factory, and this has been replicated to remain faithful to the original finish.
