would be Epic to have him do the car, two issues time and money, both are short.

We had a paint / body sponsor that left us in the lurch.

Do not Laugh but we had Maaco ready to do a "show" quality job on the little bull to try and win a Mothers award at SEMA but they backed out. Pooling their top talent to do the paint and final body work would have been a real PR stunt for them.

Ok heads up (pun intended) here is my home made poor mans non oem heads up color display. Transparent LCD color display built into my sun visor. Before you laugh think about the flir Pathfinder IR camera for night driving. Or Other apps I can pop up there and not look away from the road.

And Eric at Teds is fast closing in the Urraco sheet metal now that the front suspension is done. The paper templates for the fab are in. Let the welding continue..

Ted's Rod Shop found some more bad work by the first builder. He had SLICED the main roll bar almost in half with a grinder and filled it with seam sealer rather than fixing it.
The rear firewall welding was a joke so was the welding under the tons of seam sealer goo.. So it all had to get fixed. Also the "trunk" is getting lined in metal.

Ted's Rod Shop is really flying on the build loads of new photos on
    https://instagram.com/lp420svm/

Seat mounts are in so now the floor goes on. Motor is ready to put back in.
    Suspensions are done
Wheels and tires are set to go
They had to make new seat mounts and safety belt mounts, the ones the first builder made were not in any way shape or form safe.

Steering is in, we used a Audi / Gallardo / VW steering column that works as it should!
The rack is a an adjustable power steering set up for racing. No issues there.

Restomod Air unit is on the way!
    Have a L@@K

What a labor of love and homage to your old man.

Take your time with this, your persistence is admirable, don't debut it till you are absolutely happy, people can wait, as they say, good things are worth waiting for, and it heightens the anticipation.

Hi, Thanks for the kind words. Driving it up is not the same as a debut or showing it.

May Park it with a cover on it... Or unbolt the ugly rear end once I get up there. Who knows..

My issue is its has been so long, so disappointing such a battle, I need one win just one..

The rear end with the clip off is a good look! With the wheel wells in and the shields in its even more bad arse.

Told Eric Monterrey is for me SEMA is for him.

Should have more photos tonight on Instagram

    Update;

    Loads of new photos on
    https://instagram.com/lp420svm/

Eric and his team pulled the plug on making SEMA they just want it perfect.
However, they are still jamming along at quite a pace I must say.

    Floors are in!
    Rims are 90% done
    Basic alignment done
    Shifter cable in
    Air con evap unit in
    Zada-Tech dash in
    Steering done
    Radiator in
    Frame all redone!
    Seat mounts in!
    Harness belt placement done
    Brake lines done
    Bumpers made

    Left to do...
Seal in cockpit and belly pan
    Firewalls
Final motor install (takes like 15 minutes)
    Drive by wire hooked up
    Pop up headlights
    Doors and windows
    Gas tank fab / plumbing
    Seat upholstery
    Carpet
    Dash fitment
    Final motor / trans wiring
    Cooling plumbing
    Sound deadening
    Wiring

    Body:
    Finish up new front end
    Louvers (will be clear molded)
    Make new rear clip

So there is a mountain of work, could have made SEMA but I think eric is correct lets plan on May 2016 for first public outing. We plan on shaking it down before then / working the bugs out.

    New plan of debut;
2016 Silver State Classic enter in the Grand Sport Class where we will attempt to set the LP420 SVM as the fastest Urraco ever. Tech speed 165 MPH which is 16 mph faster than any Urraco to date.

Apply for hot rod class at The Quail Motorsports gathering in August for debut
No matter what the Stampede 2016 & Concorso

September enter Silver State again this time in the Super Sport Class Tech Speed 180mph

    Vandenburg!!!!!!

    SEMA...

Thanks! Ted's Rod Shop is doing a great job. Just wish they were not so backed up with so much work lol. Also wish I had enough money to push my build over the top. Eric is a true craftsman and a gentleman car guru.

Great to see the progress. This project definitely shows the amount of complex engineering needed. Most people cannot comprehend the amount of thought and work that go into a car that is custom built. A restoration is mere child's play in comparison. With a restoration it is really just like piecing a premade puzzle together. A custom build like this, your basically Mr. Lamborghini building the first ever Urraco sans the engineering team and manufacturing resources. If I could give one piece of advice at this point, it is to not make any deadlines and let the car reach completion when it down right feels like it. This little bull has it's own agenda. :)
