My guess is no for the following reasons. As compared to mine, which I hope is correct and the one I can remember on my 246GT.

    1) It appears to have a flatter edge or lip at the end of the mirror. Mine appears more "delicate".

    2) Hard to tell, but it does not appear to have the correct "pimpled" interior on the base.

    3) I looks like there is some sort of hole in the back. Mine does not have that.

All this is from memory as I am at the office right now.

    That is definitely NOT a Daytona Mirror;

In addition to Drew's remarks, the mirror swivel comes directly out of the base; there is no stalk coming up from the base.

Also, the mirror holder has an assymetrical cone shape; it is not flat as in the auction picture.

There are correct reproductions that come on ebay all the time; they generally sell at $80 - $120 or so.

I recently finished up with the worst Ferrari parts buying experience in thirty years of buying Italian car parts. Hopefully this will be of use to others thinking of using La Scuderia Rossa in the future.

His reputation preceded him, but Orlando Vetrano had maybe the last new Euro C/4 distributor in existence, so I purchased it from him along with some points sets and ign. coils. I had to hire a broker to find the parts in NYC (LSR is located in Italy) when the parts got there because LSR had not prepared the paperwork correctly.

The ign. coils were not in the package, so I asked LSR for a refund on them. It took me almost three months of emails back & forth to finally get back not all of my money on the parts never sent to me.

The worst part was his constant lying about having told the bank to send me the refund. He was blatantly trying to tire me out. Very inventive liar. One of several cons; he said he has constantly sent money to the USA using IBAN numbers (they are not used by USA banks), and I needed an IBAN number for him to send me the refund. I asked who he had sent money to in the USA using IBAN numbers so I could talk to them--he never answered that one.

I can't figure out if he is a chiseler and cheat par excellence, or the most scatter-brained parts seller in existence. Maybe making you think he's scatter-brained is his con. Either way it's heartache.

Anyhow, keep your eyes open with Vetrano, as has been said numerous times before.

Unfortunately I'm finding more often that peple advertise that they have all of the parts you need.
When you actually ask them for a specific part they either don't have it or the part they do have is completely wrong. There is nothing more fun than buying a part, wiring your money to the black hole that is european banking, waiting 3 or 4 weeks to find out that you have the wrong part and no recourse.
LSR seems expecially suspect to me because their web-site actually says nothing at all!
No actual parts, no specific parts and the price lists they say are on the page are not. I don't know what business he is in but I wouldn't buy from him ever.

Morris, you reminded me that I forgot to mention I also ordered a Euro C/4 distributor cap & rotor from Vetrano at the same time. AFAIK the cap is Ok (haven't finished setting up the new ignition on the car yet), but the rotor is approx. 1mm too large in diameter to form a snug fit on the distributor driveshaft--it wobbles on the shaft, unlike the used one I found on eBay. But it's just not worth wrestling with Vetrano about it.

OTH, I had the same issue with a rotor and a carbon distr. cap brush I bought from Eurospares (UK), and Claudio promptly and courteously refunded my money and exchanged the rotor for the right one. The difference in professionalism was and is night and day.

He's a known entity here..........probably lurks......sorry to hear you tangled with him!

It's most likely NOT the last NOS distributor out there, but I get your meaning......

Ferrari complonents litter the dusty shelves of the world......there were FOUR tarp covered pallets of yellow boxes in JRVs backyard, when he died.....

Yeh, I went into the deal knowing about Vetrano from reading on here, thanks F-Chat. It was the only one I could find new or used after looking for two months. You're right, I'm sure there are more S129Es out there, I just couldn't find them recently.

I guess the bottom line is that I got the main thing I needed and I did get back most of my money back after some pretty harsh words back and forth. And way too much frustration.

I really don't understand how Vetrano stays in business. Maybe Daddy funds the whole thing and cash flow/reputation don't really matter.

Sorry to hear about JRV, hopefully the boxes went to enthusiasts who love the cars.

I like how some people write what they like in this Ferrari chat and it stays for years....

I gave Mr Stevenson his 120 euro refund as soon as I found out about it..we had internet problems for 2 months and it was drastic...

Anyway Mr Stevenson has a running car thanks to the part we supplied new in box (last in the world)

I was quite annoyied on Mr Stevensons pressure as we did have the coils but really he did not want to pay the correct amount for them!

Its funny how people talk only about bad experiences here ...even if their is 15 people that paniced like sissies for a few weeks they all were resolved!

They never come back and write it was resolved na... they just leave the thread stuffed up!

Some of the truth behind this is that some businesses that sell me parts promised stuff around so I look like the bad guy here! Thats their business!

Its easy for people to come on this chat and write what they like and stuff people around.

If someone wants a part try us..If not satisfied go elsewhere..

we are the only business that sell Ferrari parts for all Ferrari Road cars and have alot of original boxed parts..

Original document pouches, Books , toolkits and jacks for some of the rarest cars 275 , 250's ,daytonas ,dino,BB you name it!

We have all original exhausts also.

People may say we are high on some parts but believe me our sources may of been high also.

We have the parts if you need them. If you want them for free or less than I paid for them then all I say is you don't really need them!

I find alot of people buy Ferraris for 5-6 zero figures and then make problems to buy a 2000 euro exhaust! Its ridiculos! Then when I buy parts of others they want sky high prices..

This has been the truth in the Ferrari world and it sometimes disguists me!

Because of this business and the crisis in 2009 with my U.S clients we are happy to be still opening.

8-10 complaints on this everlasting chat since 2004! We sold to 1000s which arehappy and have little time to chat!

The item has now been removed from E-bay.

Ferrari UK still have a few of the mirrors left, i think they are around £140 each. { I was told, i had the last ones with the prancing horse on them though].

What was his explanation of not including the coils in the shipment?
