For anyone who knew John Edwards, he was a larger than life guy with a heart of gold.... Very active and involved in the Ferrari community....

He passed a while ago, but John will finally be laid to rest with Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery on Friday, May 5, 2023...

    RIP John...

A sad loss for us all. John was such a character. I always enjoyed seeing him and talking endlessly about cars and fishing.

    RIP John.

I didn’t know him well, if really much at all. I met him at a few track events, and you’re right. Larger than life is the best way to describe him. I think I knew more about him from here than in person meetings, I am still slightly in awe of some of the stories he shared about his tours of duty.

Even with not knowing him well, I’ll take a moment on Friday to honor him, his service and his family.

I was a very close pal of John. We lived not far from each other in the NC mountains. Celebrated holidays and birthdays together many times. As others have said he was a very generous man with a huge heart. He spoke his mind w/ few filters. He was a tough survivor and a great man. Miss him dearly.

He was careful not to say too much about his service.....even to me when I got him a bit tipsy. He deserves this true honor.
