Sorry I haven't been around much since the Angeles Crest run, though not for lack of wanting to be out amongst you all!

After the sad death of one of our own, I thought I'd explain what happened.

I had a bad Slip & Fall in 7/03, but didn't understand how something that seemed so simple can have such horrifying consequences on your health.

I had gone to a Chiropractor early last year, figuring there was something missed in the ER, and they did fix the early stages of Scoliosis, but the Migraines still came, but I just figured they'd eventually go away.

Last July, I found out that I was suffering Neurological Diseases which finally took me down last summer, pretty much rock bottom in my health:
Severe Fibromyalgia; Chronic Migraines; Chronic Myofascial Pain, and Restless Leg Syndrome.

At the time, prognosis was very, very bad, and the Orthopedic Surgeon told me to give up driving, because it was so painful for me. I gave him that 'look', and just said, "THAT is the line thou shalt not cross! Fix me up, and keep me driving, okay?"

That boiled down to minimum painkillers, and treatments that were painful at first, and exercise which hurt so bad to even walk 2 min. on a treadmill from the muscles all bunched up. But I slowly improved.

Did have MRIs ran, I do have 8 discs herniated and degenerative disc disease in both neck & lumbar, but just starting (5 in neck, 3 in lumbar). Specific restrictions are: no horseback riding, snow skiing, or surfing anything big, ie, stay away from Northshore in Hawaii!

Results: FM is back down to mild, working on my stamina and health.
Price of getting better: Time, and sticker of a Ferrari or two.

I've missed you all, and maybe I should have said something, when I was so weak, but I was afraid I'd just nap all the time, lol.

I do look forward to seeing more of you all this year, I don't have as much energy as before, but definitely improving.

Look forward to this year, and all the fun it holds!
